Theone’ Designs was started in 2021 by Shelley Cozijn, a local entrepreneur. Shelley had always enjoyed creative outlets and learning new things but wanted to create something focused on women empowerment but wasn’t sure where to start. When Covid hit she started working part-time, which gave her more time to focus on her side project of making earrings and dye-sublimation printing and finally turn it into a business and so Theone’ Designs was born.

Shelley chose her middle name “Theone'”  which means “Gift from God” as she believes that everyone is a gift and should be reminded of this daily. She decided to ensure that empowering messages are incorporated into her printing designs to remind us of how special we truly are. 

10% Of profits are donated to The TygerBear Program at Tygerberg Hospital, which provides counseling for traumatized children and families. This is a program that is very close to Shelley’s heart as it is a place that she went as a child and found comfort and healing through the program and would like to help ensure that the program continues so that children and families are able to get the services they need.
